Already using Google Search Console? You'll be up and running in 2 minutes.

Basic setup

Install the app

Click Install with HubSpot on the home page and complete the OAuth flow. You'll be redirected to HubSpot to authorise the app.

Connect your Google account

Once inside the app, click Reconnect Google in the top-right corner. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Search Console properties.

Select your property

Your verified Search Console properties will appear in the domain selector. Choose the one you want to track — your dashboard will populate within seconds.


Adding a new domain to Search Console

If you haven't verified a domain in Search Console yet, follow these additional steps from the Installation tab inside the app.

Enter your domain

Type your full domain (e.g. https://example.com) in the Installation tab. The app registers it as a Search Console property and generates a meta verification tag for you.

Add the verification tag to HubSpot

Copy the meta tag shown in the app. In HubSpot go to Settings → Website → Pages → Site header HTML, paste it in, and save.

Verify ownership

Click Verify in the app. Google will check for the tag on your homepage and confirm ownership. Once verified, submit your sitemap from the Sitemaps tab (typically https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml).

Data appears in the dashboard within 2–3 days for established sites.
